This document is provided for transparency and app store compliance. LushAITech recommends having qualified legal counsel review it before production store submission.

1. Introduction

LushAITech (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates LushAIEdu, also known as PLS (the “Service”), a learning management platform for courses, organizations, schools, and AI-assisted education.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you use our website, mobile applications, and related services. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account and profile: full name, email address, phone number, password (stored in hashed form), profile photo or avatar, and optional demographic or educational details such as gender, school name, address, and academic board when you register for tuition programs.
  • Organization and school use: organization membership, roles (e.g. student, teacher, parent, admin), class enrollments, attendance records, assignments and submissions, leave requests, timetable data, and parent–student links when your school or organization uses the Service.
  • Learning activity: course progress, lesson completion, quiz and STEM activity, certification exam attempts, and AI Learn chat messages and responses.
  • Device and session data: device type (web, Android, or iOS), browser or app version, session identifiers, refresh tokens, and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device tokens when you enable push notifications.
  • Payment information: billing name, email, and transaction references processed through Razorpay. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers; card data is handled by Razorpay according to their policies.
  • Communications: support inquiries, notification preferences, and messages related to org invitations or account recovery.
  • Local storage: authentication tokens, notification tokens, and display preferences stored in your browser or app when you use the web or PWA version.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Create and manage your account and authenticate you securely.
  • Provide courses, enrollments, org/class features, attendance, assignments, billing, and certificates.
  • Deliver in-app and push notifications about classes, assignments, invitations, and account activity.
  • Power AI Learn tutoring features by processing your questions and learning context through our AI services.
  • Process payments and issue invoices for paid courses or org billing.
  • Maintain security, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with legal obligations.
  • Improve the Service through aggregated analytics and troubleshooting.

4. Legal Bases and Consent

Where applicable, we process personal information based on: (a) performance of a contract with you or your organization; (b) your consent, such as when you opt in to push notifications or accept an organization invitation; (c) legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service; and (d) compliance with law.

You may withdraw consent for optional processing (such as push notifications) through your device or in-app settings, though core account features may require certain data to function.

5. Sharing with Third Parties

We may share information with:

  • Your school or organization administrators, teachers, and authorized staff for educational and administrative purposes within the org.
  • Service providers: Firebase / Google (push notifications), Razorpay (payments), cloud hosting and storage providers, and AI model providers such as Google Gemini (and, where configured, Anthropic) to deliver AI Learn features.
  • Legal and safety: regulators, courts, or law enforcement when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to continued protection of your data.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their independent marketing.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide the Service, and as required for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Organization administrators may remove members from an organization; platform administrators may delete accounts in accordance with internal procedures. You may request account deletion or correction by contacting us at the email below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and delete or anonymize data where we are not required to retain it.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and session management to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children and Educational Use

The Service is used by schools and organizations that may enroll students under 18. Where a minor uses the Service, we rely on the school, organization, or parent/guardian to provide appropriate consent and supervision.

If you believe we have collected personal information from a child without proper authorization, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access and receive a copy of personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete information through your profile or by contacting us.
  • Disable push notifications in device or browser settings and revoke FCM registration by signing out or using logout-all on your account.
  • Request deletion of your account, subject to legal and contractual retention requirements.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing where applicable law provides such rights.

10. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in India and in other countries where our service providers operate. We take steps designed to ensure that transfers comply with applicable data protection requirements.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate.
